Young Footballers showcase their skills during Elspark United Football Academy’s Winter Tournament.
The Elspark United Football Academy was established in 2012.
The club makes its home at the Elsburg Sports Complex and caters for players from disadvantaged backgrounds.
It strives to teach children from six to 17 years old more about the beautiful game of football.
Last Saturday the club hosted a fun-filled winter tournament.
The tournament was open to u-17 and u-19 teams.
In the u-19 event, Takers Football Club, Shumba Football Club, Dawn Park Football Club, Benny Football Club, Amadino Football Club, Juventus Boys Football Club and hosts Elspark United Football Academy took part.
Elspark United is currently playing in the Gauteng Development League but needs the community’s help to continue to participate.
The club is currently looking for prospective sponsors to help with players’ kits, soccer balls, training equipment and transport for when teams need to attend away matches.
They are also appealing to the community to help us with sponsorship for future tournaments.
