Officers from the Primrose Police Station arrested 27 suspects between August 9 and 15.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.
The accused were charged for various offences.

Charges included dealing in and possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, rape, compelled rape, driving under the influence of alcohol, malicious damage to property, theft, possession of house break-in implements, shoplifting and warrant of arrest.
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
