Take a stand for a worthy cause
Get out and enjoy the warm weather at community fun walk.
The 16 Days of Activism Campaign is held annually from November 25 to December 10.
The campaign opposes violence against women, children and the elderly and aims to raise awareness about the negative impact that violence and abuse have on society.
In honour of the campaign, and World Aids Day, which is celebrated on December 1, the committee of Ward 39 will be hosting a 5km fun walk.

The event will take place on December 1, at Weideman Dam, in Weideman Street in Elsburg, with the walk kicking off at 8am.
The day aims to encourage the community to join hands against the violence in the area.
About 300 people are expected to take part in the event but the community is calling on more to join.
For more information call Ward 39 councillor Alta de Beer on 082 777 1406.
