Rondebult High School was allegedly broken into last Tuesday.
A teacher at the school reported the matter to the Elsburg police on Wednesday morning and a docket was opened.
“The teacher alleged that on the Tuesday afternoon when he knocked-off all doors and windows were properly closed and locked,” said Const Daphney Phooko, communications officer for the Elsburg police.
“However, the following morning he arrived at work only to find that the storeroom had been broken into.”

Upon investigation, it was found that the food for the feeding scheme was missing from the storeroom.
The concerned teacher kept his eyes and ears on the ground and eventually received an anonymous tip which was given to the police regarding the whereabouts of the feeding scheme groceries.
Upon following up on the lead, the groceries were found in one of the tuck shops in the area, owned by a foreign national.
“A 22-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon, to face charges of burglary and possession of suspected stolen property,” Phooko added.
