EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members attended to a complaint regarding a hawker allegedly selling dagga, recently. It was alleged he was selling dagga from his red container at the Elandsfontein Train Station.

Four seriously injured after alleged chemical explosion at Germiston business

Emergency services responded to reports of an alleged chemical explosion at a recycling facility in Germiston last Tuesday morning. Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer for Netcare 911, said paramedics responded at about 8.08am.

Man critical after gas cylinder explodes in Klippoortje AH

Netcare 911 responded to reports of an explosion at a house in Dragon Street, Klippoortje AH, at 2.51pm last Saturday.

Update: No chemical explosion at Germiston business

Orange Ink, who handles the PR for Interwaste, has confirmed there was no chemical explosion at the recycling facility last Tuesday. There was, in fact, a fire at the facility.

Benoni K9 officers arrest man for drug possession

While on a recent patrol in Blackwood Road, Primrose, officers from the Benoni K9 Unit noticed a man acting suspiciously.
