Forty-two suspects nabbed in Katlehong over the Easter weekend

While many Katlehong community members took a well-deserved rest over the Easter weekend, the Katlehong police were hard at work. Officers from the Katlehong police’s Crime Prevention Unit arrested 42 suspects with the help of the EMPD.

Operation Paseka takes to the streets of Katlehong

Katlehong police took to the streets recently as part of Operation Paseka. During the operation, conducted by members of the Katlehong police’s Crime Prevention Unit, five suspects were arrested. The accused were arrested for various offences.

The warm weather means snakes will now be up and about after a long period of hibernation, hungry and in search of food. From mid-August until late May it is snake season.
