Several suburbs in Germiston are still without electricity last Tuesday morning. It is reported that the power went off last Monday night at approximately 10pm, due to an Eskom equipment failure.

Team tackles crime issues in Marlands and Woodmere
Burglaries, theft of vehicles and theft are all on the rise in Marlands and Woodmere. This is according to the Primrose police. In an effort to raise awareness and sensitise the community to these crimes, a team made up of officers from the Primrose Police Station, members of the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk and local community patrollers took this initiative to the streets.
