Police target criminals in their area

The Germiston SAPS tackled crime and made 48 arrests in their precinct.

The Germiston SAPS recorded a number of successes between October 14 and 21.

Suspects were arrested for a number of different offences.

The arrests were:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol: 28

• Shoplifting: 6

• Attempted business robbery: 2

• Fraud: 2

• Possession of suspected stolen property: 3

• Armed robbery: 1

• Dealing in dagga: 1

• Assault GBH: 1

• House break-in: 1

• Common assault: 3

All the suspects were due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
