The Primrose police arrested 31 suspects between December 12 and 18.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included hijacking, perjury, driving under the influence of alcohol, common assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, possession of suspected stolen property, warrant of arrest, dealing in liquor without a license, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
