Ban on alcohol should be permanent
We all know that alcohol is the main reason why so many lives are being destroyed.
Just look around you and count the number of people you know personally whose lives have suffered.
Children are deprived of good up-bringing parental care because of the way alcohol has destroyed their families and brought misery in their young lives.
Almost on a daily basis in the newspapers and on the radio we read and hear about how women are raped and killed by husbands and boyfriends who blame alcohol for their actions.
The crime was reduced during the lockdown. This has all of a sudden changed as soon as the restrictions on alcohol were lifted.
This should be enough proof to the government that alcohol is a big stumbling block.
I fully agree and support Police Minister Cele that the ban on alcohol should be permanent.
