Primrose SAPS arrested a suspect (24) for a murder which happened in Makause informal settlement on August 29.
Communications officer of Primrose SAPS Sgt Styles Maome said Germiston police were patrolling when they received a report from Bertha Gxowa Hospital about a stabbing.
“They rushed to the scene of the stabbing and found the deceased’s younger brother, who informed police his brother had been stabbed with a sharp object.
“Police visited the hospital, where the victim had been certified dead by a medical doctor,” said Maome.
He said a case of murder was registered at Primrose SAPS and an investigation was initiated.

“The suspect was traced and arrested. He was detained at Primrose Police Station pending his appearance in Germiston Magistrate’s Court.”
