Germiston SAPS weekly successes

Germiston SAPS arrested 72 suspects between February 15 and 22.

According to Const Maxwell Mabunda, communications officer at Germiston SAPS, suspects were arrested for the following crimes:

• Tampering with infrastructure
• Attempted rape
• Theft
• Assault grievous bodily harm
• Shoplifting
• Dealing in liquor without a licence
• Possession of drugs
• Common assault
• Possession of a hijacked vehicle
• Warrant of arrest, reckless and negligent driving
• Possession of a stolen property
• House break-in
• Domestic violence
• Thirty drunk driving cases
• Sexual assault
• Common robbery
• Contravening the disaster management act
• Dealing in dagga
• Assault on the police
• Murder
• Interference with police duties
• Malicious damage to property.
