Mighty Bros FC celebrate a six goal win

The tough match ended with a 6-3 score in favour of Mighty Brothers FC.

March 28 saw Mighty Bros FC go head-to-head with Mondicoolers FC at the Germiston Stadium rugby fields for a Super League soccer match.

The tough match ended with a 6-3 score in favour of Mighty Brothers FC.

According to Thuli Nkabinde from the Might Bros, Khula Magubane opened the scoring in the first 13 minutes.

“The second goal was scored at the 20 minute mark by Khotso Mosala to make the score 2-0.”

Charles Sayenda then scored just before the break.

“Mondicoolers came back strong in the second half. They scored a goal as a result of the Mighty Bros goalkeeper’s mistake.”

This took the score to 3-1.

Minutes after Mondicoolers scored, the home side countered to score the fourth goal courtesy of Sello ‘The Playmaker’ Matjila.

A foul was committed by Mighty Bros in the penalty area, however, Mondicooler missed that penalty.

Mighty Brothers had another chance and Buntu Sibiya scored to make the scoreline 5-1.

Mondicoolers managed to score their second goal in the last 10 minutes of the game, which was followed by a third goal as a result of a defensive error by Mighty Bros..

During the referee’s additional time, Siphelele Magubane managed to beat the defenders and the goalkeeper to make the scoreline 6-3.

This win put Mighty Bros FC in seventh place on the log with Kathorus Hyper Academy sitting in first place.
