Four caught for possession of suspected stolen goods

The arrests were made at different properties on Basia Road in Primrose on September 8.

Primrose SAPS, with the help of members from Ekurhuleni Task Team, arrested four suspects for possession of suspected stolen property.

The arrests were made at different properties on Basia Road in Primrose on September 8.

“Members of Ekurhuleni Task Team received a tip-off about two addresses and they visited the first address, where they found two suspects in possession of copper cable. Both were arrested,” said Sgt Styles Maome, Primrose SAPS communications officer.

“The task team proceeded to the second property and found more copper cables and an additional two suspects were apprehended.

“During questioning, the suspects could not give clear explanations as to where they got the copper cable from. They were arrested and detained at Primrose Police Station pending their appearance in Germiston Magistrate’s Court,” said Maome.
