In recognition of World Trauma Day on October 17, Life Roseacres Hospital paid tribute to paramedics for their dedication in saving lives.

Janene de Beer, marketing manager at Life Roseacres, noted the significance of the day in raising awareness about trauma prevention.

“Traumatic injuries are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality, with cases increasing rapidly.

“World Trauma Day was established to educate the public on taking preventive steps to reduce accidents and injuries,” said De Beer.
