Police confirm murder of missing woman found near Tedstoneville
The body of a 35-year-old woman, previously reported missing, was discovered on a bridge between Ramaphosa and Tedstoneville. Police are investigating her murder and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stop.
Elsburg SAPS responded to a murder scene on July 11, where the body of a 35-year-old woman was found lying on the bridge between Ramaphosa and Tedstoneville.
Upon arrival, police discovered the deceased, who matched the description of a woman previously reported missing and believed to have been kidnapped. The report had been filed at Elsburg SAPS earlier.

“SAPS contacted the family, who positively identified the deceased. Her hands were tied,” said Ekurhuleni District communication officer Captain Neldah Sekgobela.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward. Tip-offs can also be provided anonymously by calling the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
