Germiston among areas targeted as EMPD nabs ten suspects in drug bust
Ten suspects have been arrested and over R12 000 worth of illegal drugs seized in a multi-area EMPD operation covering Germiston, Kempton Park, Duduza, Daveyton and Putfontein.
A multi-area operation by the EMPD has led to the arrest of 10 suspects and the seizure of illegal substances valued at more than R12 000.
According to EMPD, between August 11 and August 13, officers targeted known hotspots in Germiston, Kempton Park, Duduza, Daveyton and Putfontein after receiving tip-offs from community members about drug dealing activities.
During the operations, suspects were found in possession of dagga, Mandrax tablets, crystal meth and cat, with an estimated street value of R12 520.

The suspects, aged between 20 and 47, were arrested and taken to their respective local police stations.
They face charges of possession and dealing in illegal substances.
All 10 are expected to appear in court soon.
