Primrose suspect arrested for possession of R80 000 in suspected stolen goods

EMPD officers seized a variety of suspected stolen items, including electronics, cosmetics, and salon equipment, while cracking down on drug dealers during coordinated operations.

The EMPD Community Liaison Unit (CLU) officers arrested a 43-year-old male suspect for possession of suspected stolen goods in the Primrose area.

Acting on intelligence, during an operation in partnership with the SAPS Crime Intelligence Unit and Hlasela Tactical Solution, they tracked the suspect to a property in Mimmosa Street, where they observed him jumping the wall and attempting to flee.

The search uncovered a substantial quantity of suspected stolen goods, including computer accessories, cosmetics, drinking bottles, a gas gun, salon equipment, and razors, with an estimated value of R80 000.
