Triple murder accused Eugene Botha’s bail hearing was again postponed in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on April 8.

Triple murder accused Eugene Botha’s bail hearing was again postponed in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on April 8.

His next court appearance will be on May 21, following his fourth appearance. He still faces charges of three counts of murder.

The victims were his sister, mother, and father.

He faces additional charges for being in possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
Botha remains in custody.

On February 8 the case was postponed to April 8. Initially, the State had asked for 12 weeks to extend its investigations.

The court then granted the state eight weeks to complete its inquiry.
