Judy van Zyl, hospital manager, highlighted Nightingale’s transformative influence on nursing practises, emphasising her advocacy for compassionate and patient-centered care, principles that continue to define the nursing profession.

Van Zyl expressed gratitude for the dedication and excellence demonstrated by nurses at Life Roseacres Hospital, underscoring the importance of the occasion in honoring their tireless efforts in delivering high-quality care to patients.

Merle Victor, chief nurse officer at Life Healthcare, extended appreciation to occupational nurses for their invaluable contribution to workplace health and safety.
