Dinwiddie grandfather marks milestone 90th birthday

Surrounded by generations of loved ones, Dinwiddie resident Daniel Taylor recently celebrated his 90th birthday, reflecting a life rich in resilience and legacy.

The Taylor family recently celebrated a remarkable milestone as Daniel Taylor marked his 90th birthday on November 15.

Born in Port Elizabeth on November 17, 1935, Daniel has lived a life defined by love, resilience and unwavering commitment to family.

Daniel married his late wife, Maud Taylor, on March 31, 1954, and together they built a strong and nurturing home for their seven children – four daughters and three sons.

Over the years, Daniel has faced both great joy and profound loss, including the passing of his eldest daughter in 2017, his wife in 2018 and his eldest son in 2020.

The Taylor family recently celebrated Daniel Taylor who turned 90.

Through it all, he remained a pillar of strength and wisdom for his family.

Today, Daniel’s legacy continues to flourish through multiple generations. He is the proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren, great-grandfather to 27 and great-great-grandfather to 17.

He now resides in Dinwiddie, Germiston, where he is surrounded daily by the love, respect and gratitude of his family.

His 90-year milestone is not only a celebration of a long life, but of a life well lived – rich in family bonds, endurance and an unshakable spirit.
