Germiston’s Daniel Taylor celebrates 90th birthday surrounded by family
Daniel Taylor of Dinwiddie, Germiston, marked his 90th birthday on November 15, celebrating a lifetime of family, resilience, and devotion across five generations.
The Taylor family recently celebrated a remarkable milestone as Daniel Taylor marked his 90th birthday on November 15.
Born in Port Elizabeth on November 17, 1935, Daniel has lived a life defined by love, resilience, and unwavering commitment to family.
Daniel married his late wife, Maud Taylor, on March 31, 1954, and together they built a strong and nurturing home for their seven children, four daughters and three sons.

Over the years, Daniel has faced both great joy and profound loss, including the passing of his eldest daughter in 2017, his wife in 2018, and his eldest son in 2020. Through it all, he remained a pillar of strength and wisdom for his family.
Today, Daniel’s legacy continues to flourish through multiple generations. He is the proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren, the great-grandfather of 27, and the great-great-grandfather of 17. He now resides in Dinwiddie, Germiston, where he is surrounded daily by the love, respect, and gratitude of his family.
His 90-year milestone is not only a celebration of a long life but of a life well lived, rich in family bonds, endurance, and an unshakable spirit.
