Roadside and streetlight maintenance underway on Dekema Road, Wadeville

The City of Ekurhuleni is carrying out roadside and streetlight maintenance on Dekema Road in the Wadeville Industrial Area, to improve safety and visibility for road users.

The City of Ekurhuleni has confirmed that maintenance work is underway on Dekema Road in the Wadeville Industrial Area, Germiston.

The project includes repairs and upgrades to streetlights and roadside infrastructure aimed at improving visibility and road safety.

Motorists have been urged to exercise caution while work is in progress and to comply with temporary road signs and traffic management measures.

“These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to ensure safer roads for residents, commuters and pedestrians alike,” said a City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson.
