Wadeville Licensing Centre services resume after temporary closure

Services at the centre are set to resume today after a temporary suspension caused by a maintenance issue.

Motorists and residents who rely on the Wadeville Licensing Centre can once again access services after Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Licensing Services confirmed that operations are resuming today, June 15.

According to the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD), the temporary closure affected both Motor Vehicle Registering Authority (MVRA) and Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) services.

The facility was temporarily closed due to a maintenance issue.

The EMPD previously indicated that services would resume on June 15, with operations expected to continue as normal.

The department also confirmed that bookings affected by the closure would be rescheduled. Affected clients are expected to be informed of their new appointment dates.

The EMPD apologised for the inconvenience caused and said the matter had been treated as a priority.
