WATCH: Primrose march against illegal immigration proceeds peacefully under police watch
Community organisation Ilizwe Nathi led a demonstration through Primrose, with police praising participants for adhering to regulations and maintaining order.
A march against illegal immigration, organised by civic organisation Ilizwe Nathi, took place in Primrose on June 16, drawing participants from across the community.
The demonstration began in the morning and continued until around midday, with marchers moving through various parts of Primrose before concluding at Shamrock Road.

A strong police and private security presence was maintained throughout the event to ensure public safety and prevent any incidents of violence.

According to Primrose SAPS, the march proceeded without disruption and remained peaceful from start to finish.
Police commended participants for complying with the agreed regulations and cooperating with law enforcement officials during the demonstration.
Authorities said the event was managed successfully, with organisers and participants adhering to the conditions set out for the march.
