Rest-A-While Service Centre for the Aged is calling on passionate community members to step forward and serve on its executive board.
The Primrose-based organisation is looking to appoint two new executive board members as its current chairperson prepares for retirement later this year.
The centre is seeking local individuals with skills and experience in areas such as fundraising, problem-solving, management or human resources.

“Applicants with fresh ideas, a passion for serving the elderly, and strong teamwork abilities are encouraged to apply.
“The positions are voluntary, with no salary attached, as the organisation operates as a non-profit organisation (NPO) in accordance with its constitution.
“This presents an opportunity for residents to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly community members while contributing to the growth and sustainability of the centre,” said centre manager Trudy Carreira.
