Two abandoned, partially stripped vehicles were impounded in Germiston after their owners allegedly failed to remove them despite repeated verbal and written warnings from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD).

The EMPD has impounded two abandoned, partially stripped vehicles in Germiston after their owners allegedly failed to remove them despite repeated warnings.

According to the EMPD, officers from the Germiston South Precinct initially issued verbal and written notices requesting that the vehicles be removed from the roadside.

When no action was taken, officers impounded the sedan and hatchback from the corner of Odendaal and Queen Street.

The vehicles were taken to the EMPD Vehicle Pound in Alberton for safekeeping.
