Diana Kent, Wychwood, writes:
You read in the paper and see on television all these terrible things that are happening to small children.
This week I had to change my way of going to work and passed an informal settlement on the border of Primrose, and was shocked to see small children, about Grade One age group, about six years old and smaller waiting on the side of the road for transport.
Why do they not have an adult with them?
These tiny children are being abused, burnt, etc., and parents still leave them so close to the main road, and let them play near a very busy road.
I really am not surprised that children go missing.
Parents really need to think before leaving these precious children on the side of the road.
