YCLSA saddened by tragic bus accident

YCLSA expresses condolences to bereaved families of bus accident victims.

Young Communist League of South Africa (YCLSA) Oupa Phasha District Committee writes:

The Young Communist League of SA Oupa Phasha District, Ekurhuleni is saddened by the unthinkable tragic accident which claimed the lives of 10 members and volunteers of the African National Congress and Alliance from Katlehong (Ward 60).

Among the dead were promising selfless leaders and think-tanks of our developing society.

These true soldiers for economic freedom left us at an extremely difficult period in our epoch.

We as the YCLSA in particular and the Progressive Youth Alliance in Ekurhuleni, have been robbed of true potential, dedication and selflessness coupled with activism in the departing of these comrades who lived to advocate the struggle for economic freedom of all the youth of our country and Ekurhuleni in particular.

We express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. We share in your loss, we share in your pain, and we shall stand by you in this trying time.

We shall be there until our fellow soldiers are laid to rest and beyond.

May their souls find eternal rest.
