Beware of these tent so-called churches, a mockery to religion

It is sad to watch poor people being coerced into parting with their hard-earned cash every week-end with promises of empty riches in heaven after they die.

People must realise that some of these charismatic churches are run by people who are only interested in making as much money as they can in the shortest possible time from gullible local communities to satisfy their greed.

It is no secret that many so-called “pastors” of these “tent” churches which sprout up every second day in the outskirts of each townships, are nothing more than greedy charlatans whose only interest is to make money from their unsuspecting members.

It is sad to watch poor people being coerced into parting with their hard-earned cash every week-end with promises of empty riches in heaven after they die.

Scores of ignorant people flock to the “tent” churches where they get bombarded with meaningless half truths and loud dance music.

I want to warn people to please keep away from these informal churches who are only interested in stealing your money and your energy.
