Residents tell us their views on the death of legendary jazz artist Hugh Masekela.

We have certainly suffered a great loss as a nation. Rest in peace Bra Hugh.”
Walter Xaba: “An iconic African artist has left us. I was very fond of his music. I collect his music and my favourite song will always be Nomalungelo. Goodbye Bra Hugh.”
Jonathan Phakathi: “When an artist who made music, which the masses found joy and comfort in, dies, we are left undone. He was a role model and he’ll be missed.”
Mabu Kganyago: “Every year I look forward to the Moretele Jazz Festival because Bra Hugh is always the highlight of my night. I will surely miss him.”
