Young people must learn to save

Young people must stand up and create their own future and wealth and not wait for government handouts, public sympathy and charity.

Secondly, they must also understand that you cannot create wealth if you are a wasteful spendthrift who just wants to spend every cent he gets. The culture of saving is very important for young people who want to create a better future for themselves.

You cannot create wealth if you also want to impress friends by incurring debt and buy things you really don’t need. Peer pressure can be the quickest way to poverty.

Banks should be visiting schools and educate young people about financial management. They have people who are better qualified to teach this subject because they are already actively involved in servicing the public.

There are some specialist subjects that should not be left to the teachers. Corporate companies in these fields should also lend a hand in shaping the future of young learners who also happen to be prospective employees.
