The Scaw Cricket Club is looking for new players, young and old, to join their club.
The invitation is not limited to experienced cricketers, people who do not know how to play cricket are also welcome as the club is able and willing to help in any aspect.
The club has the following leagues that suit all age groups:
q Juniors: u-11,u-13 and u-15
q Seniors: Saturday Five, Sunday One, Sunday Three and Sunday Six (35 and over).
Junior dads who want to lend a helping hand in coaching are also welcome.
The senior leagues are open to dads interested in playing cricket themselves.
Practice nets which house a bowling machine are available for the batsmen, as well as nets for the bowlers to practice their bowling skills.
There is a main oval at the grounds, as well as an extra oval should there be two concurrent home games.
A pub is also situated on the premises.
Practice times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm and the juniors practice on Saturdays from 8am to noon.
The grounds are at Scawlands in Malherbe Road, Dinwiddie.
