The Germiston SPCA will host an Action Cricket Fun Day on November 2, at the Meyersdal Action Arena, in aid of their animals in need.
“It’s that time of the year again and we are looking forward to another successful fund-raiser,”
said the chairman of the Germiston/Bedfordview SPCA, Shelley Bainbridge.
“We would like people to join us and take a stall at our fun day; we do our very best not to duplicate stalls and to give everyone the best site possible.”
The Action Arena will sell cold drinks, sweets, crisps and food, so these items cannot be sold by another vendor.
Please note that no tables or chairs will be available to stall holders, so they should provide their own.
If they need shade, they should bring along a gazebo or umbrella.
There will be a jumping castle for the kiddies, as well as face-painting, flea market stalls and lots of great prizes up for grabs.
“We are urgently looking for cricket teams to enter; the closing date for registrations has moved to October 30,” said Bainbridge.
“This is a great idea for corporate team building.
“The money paid for the stalls goes directly to Germiston/Bedfordview SPCA’s fund-raising and is non-refundable.
The event will run from 9am to 5pm, and the set up time is 7.30am to 8.30am.
Should stall holders arrive after 8.30am, they risk losing their pre-appointed site.
Parking is available on the premises.
