Body building in Primrose

Muscle and strength in Primrose.

Muscle Science, in conjunction with Ackermans Pharmacy, hosted Primroses first body building competition on March 29, at the Unique Physique Gym.

People from the community came out in numbers to learn about and enjoy all the activities available on the day.

The aim of the event was to empower the community and inspire people to live healthy lifestyles.

Unique Physique Gym members supported the event, along with many other local competitors.

There was no entry fee and prizes, sponsored by Muscle Science and Ackermans Pharmacy, were up for grabs.

The success of this, the first body building show hosted in Primrose, has encouraged the organisers to consider making it an annual event.

Members of the gym who entered the competition, are:

  • Andile Skeyi – overall winner.
  • Masoka Thembani – placed first in the u-60kg division.
  • Marius Wessels – placed third in the up-to-80kg division.
  • Lucky Tankiso – placed first in the u-70kg division.
  • Logan Wessels – placed fourth in the u-60kg division.
