Germiston City in for a challenge

Germiston City in for tough quarter final.

The giant killers of the ELFA Super league Cup – Germiston City Football Club – have been pitted against Highlands Park Super League 1, the current cup holders, in the quarter-finals of the Super League Cup.

City is the last Super League Two side left in the competition, after the great win against Bedfordview on June 28.

Highlands beat Olympia, of the Super League Two, 4-0 in the previous round.

City will have to be at their absolute best to come away with a positive result and to advance in the league.

The match is scheduled to take place in Modderfontein, at Highlands Park’s home ground, on July 26.
