Catch all the athletics action this Saturday
Support all the track and field athletes.
Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) has been authorised by Athletics South Africa (ASA) to host its first two-hour long Invitation Meeting at the Germiston Stadium, on Saturday (May 16).
ASA has invited four athletes, from all the different provinces, for each event of the day.
Germiston Callies’ Kayla Gilbert is among the invited athletes to take part in the programme on Saturday.
The two-hour programme will run from 11am to 1pm and consists of 17 track and field events.
Triple jump, pole vault, high jump and javelin throw are among the events spectators can expect to witness at the stadium.
