It was all out action at the recent Provincial Senior Athletics Championships, held at Germiston Stadium.
The event, hosted by Central Gauteng Athletics, saw top senior athletes vying for podium positions.
Kyla Gilbert, from Germiston Callies Harriers, held the club’s name high, chalking up two wins at the event.
The local athlete, trained by Stephané Kotze, took first place in her 100m hurdles event, finishing in a time of 13.75 seconds, and also scooped first spot in her long jump event, with a distance of 5.85m.
