The Safari Gold Club, hosted their bi-annual charity golf day at the Germiston Golf Club.

The Safari Gold Club hosted its bi-annual charity golf day at the Germiston Golf Club recently.
The event, which took seven months of dedicated planning, raised R400 000 through the day’s activities, including an auction at the prize-giving.
This was a record amount raised by the club (which was founded in 1978 in Kempton Park) at any of their bi-annual charity days.
This charity day prize-giving ended with R200 000 being donated to two chosen charities, namely Little Eden and Abraham Kriel Childcare Centre.
Safari Gold Club chairman, Peps Pretorius thanked all the sponsors, which included Oberon Pharma, for their generous donations and all the participants and club committee members who made the day possible.
