The Ekurhuleni sports and recreation in conjunction with the Victoria Lake Canoe Club (VLC) will host the Ekurhuleni District Sprint Canoeing competition.
The competition will be held at the Germiston Lake on Sunday.
Over 70 school league paddlers are expected at the race.
Take a drive or walk to the Germiston Lake and show support for the youngsters.
Registration will start at 7am, making way for the race at 8am.
Prize-giving is anticipated to start at 11am.
