Gauteng Road Cycling Team members get new uniform

The SAPS Gauteng Road Cycling Team received new cycling T-shirts on June 9.

The handover took place after a three-day practice session to prepare for the National Road Cycling Championship that has been scheduled for four days, from June 18 – June 21.

The practice run took place in Roodepoort.

The handing over of cycling T-shirts was witnessed by the representative of West Rand Cluster (Brig Leon Kruger) and representatives from the Gauteng Provincial Office.

Communications official at Vosloorus SAPS, Capt Piet Rossouw, said about about 140 members are going to participate in the race.

“A total of 10 teams, including all nine provinces and a team from head office, will take part in this year’s National Road Cycling Championship,” said Rossouw.
