PRINT EXCLUSIVE: Dinwiddie’s Shiraz is above par

Young Shiraz Samuels is making a name for himself in the golfing world, one hole at a time.

Some people are born with natural talents.

Shiraz Samuels (9) from Dinwiddie is one of these people.

At the tender age of four, Shiraz swung a golf club for the first time and has been making a mark in the world of golf ever since.

“He first picked up a golf club at about three-and-a-half years old and said he wanted to play golf,” explained Shiraz’s dad and caddie, Ridwan.

“We were not a family that was into golf or played golf, so we started looking at ways to make it happen.”
