Three Raptors Wrestling Club wrestlers selected for Valke team
Wrestlers shine at Noordvaal National Tournament.
Dewald de Wet (Jnr), Ada Smith and Daniella de Wet, were recently selected as part of the Eastern Gauteng (Valke) team.
The three young wrestlers, who are members of the Primrose-based Raptors Wrestling Club, represented the Valke team at the Noordvaal National Tournament.

The tournament saw wrestlers from East Gauteng (Valke), Central Gauteng (Lions), Northern Gauteng (Bulls), Limpopo and Mpumalanga, competing for top honours.
“The Valke team was placed second overall at the competition,” explained Raptors Wrestling Club coach, Dewald de Wet (Snr).
“Daniella was the only girl in all the teams who participated at the event.
“Dewald won all four of his matches effortlessly.”
