Jeppe Boys tee off for fundraiser at Germiston Golf Club
Highlighting the brotherhood of Jeppe High School for Boys, the first team golfers showed their support for their rowing colleagues and joined them on the day.
The first-ever annual golf day fundraiser was held by Jeppe High School for Boys’ Rowing Club at Germiston Golf Club.
The event was hosted on October 26 by the parents of the rowers.

With the 2023 Gauteng Schools and Junior Championships held between November 3 and 5 at Roodeplaat Dam, boats and equipment were in need of major repairs.
As a result, parents jumped on board to raise much-needed funds.

The golf day ‘with a difference, making a difference’, was described as being a mammoth success.
With a rather different scoring format, many sponsored holes had games were enjoyed.

Especially ‘adapted’ golf clubs were used to tee off, and it was a day full of laughs thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The club thanked the main line sponsors, Bellissimo Lifestyle Designs, Papachinos Stoneridge and Boksburg, Teljoy and Central Buildit, as well as the extensive effort from many of the parents, companies and of course the golfers who played to make the day a resounding success.

Dawn Dunn of Bellissimo Lifestyles Designs, rugby commentator and successful businesswoman was the guest speaker at the prize-giving dinner.

She delivered some words of inspiration and support to the rowing boys.
