Aberdare Cables donation uplifts Elethu Home residents
Aberdare Cables made a donation of groceries, a jojo tank, washing machine and stove.
Elethu Home for the Physically Disabled project manager Khaya Mnyanda has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Aberdare Cables for a timely donation that will significantly improve the living conditions of its residents.
Mnyanda, together with the home’s board, praised the company’s contribution, noting it arrived at a crucial moment when support was most needed.
He added that the ongoing relationship between the Germiston-based company and Elethu continues to foster a caring and supportive environment for residents.
The cable company showcased its commitment to social responsibility on March 6 when it donated essential supplies to the home.

Leading the initiative was CEO Ken Wang, accompanied by executives Shirley Chetty-Mahabeer, Stuart Carter, and Mishack Matla.
The donation included a JoJo tank, washing machine, stove, and groceries, all aimed at enhancing the daily lives of residents.
Wang expressed deep appreciation for the warm welcome they received, highlighting the importance of partnerships that make a tangible difference in communities.
His sentiments were echoed by Chetty-Mahabeer and Matla, who emphasised the value of building strong relationships with organisations dedicated to improving lives.
