A mother and her two boys were involved in an accident on the R23 after she bumped into a bakkie loaded with vegetables and lost control of her vehicle. The woman was on her way to Shalimar Ridge Primary to drop her eldest boy at school when the accident happened at 08:20.
According to police, the woman was overtaking the bakkie when the two vehicles scraped against each other causing her vehicle to end up on the opposite side of the road.
No one was seriously injured.
