Municipal spokesperson of Lesedi succumbs to gunshot injuries
Arthur Thokoane, the communications officer of Lesedi Local Municipality (Heidelberg) passed away in hospital on February 2 due to unforeseen medical complications following a gunshot injury.
Thokoane (Lesedi Local Municipality spokesperson) was recovering in Life Suikerbosrand Hospital after he sustained a gunshot wound in the abdomen during a hijacking at a friend’s house in Ratanda on January 12.
Among friends and colleagues, Thokoane was known as a spiritual man and an ambassador of hope. He was also the father of a young boy.
