7de Laan cast wows Heidelberg Mall shoppers
Heidelberg locals enjoyed a day of fun and laughter with their favourite characters from 7de Laan.
Heidelberg Mall was pumping with activity and music on May 25 when the cast of 7de Laan visited Heidelberg and met with their local fans. The actors who took part in the event did so using their character names.
Xander (Theodore Jantjies), Mariaan (Deirdre Wolhuter), Justin (Dann Jacques Mouton), Connie (Quinne Brown), Alexa (Carina Nel), Vanessa (Ingrid Paulus), Charmaine (Vinette Ebrahim), Aggie (Mimi Mahlasela), Jacob (Patrick Shai), Kopano (Thabo Mhlanga), Matrone (Annelize van der Ryst) , Willem (Markus Haywood) and Rikus (André Lótter) wowed their fans with jokes and stories.
The cast allowed the public to put them on the spot and ask in depth questions about their characters. Locals got the opportunity to answer questions about the soap opera, like identifying certain characters and received prizes when they were correct. One fan even requested that Charmaine (Vinette Ebrahim) and Jacob (Patrick Shai) kiss on stage in front of the audience that caused loud applause and laughter from the crowd.
The cast then held a dance competition where several fans were chosen to dance on stage. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and laughter. Prizes were given to the dancers as well as the people who answered questions correctly. A total of 10 stores sponsored prizes which where handed out to customers at the event.
After the activities, fans got the opportunity to collect cards (containing individual photographs of the actors) from each actor with an autograph and they could even snap a photo with their favourites.
