In an attempt to re-establish Nigel CPF a special meeting was held at SAPS Nigel on November 28, during which the following people were elected as committee members of Nigel CPF: Mduduzi Mbele (public relations officer), LT Col Senzangakhona Mohale (SAPS Nigel station commander), Rudi Rudolph (vice chairperson), Mohammed Murad (treasurer), Eleanor Baartman (secretary), Karabelo Matlou (vice secretary), Mohammed Iqbal (chairperson), Samson Madi (MEC representative).
For the past four years Nigel CPF faced numerous challenges of which the most important one was the fact that it had been without an executive board as required by the provisions of the Police Act of 1995.
