Ratanda elderly ladies spoiled

Tender loving care for Old Age Home ladies.

The elderly at Ratanda Old Age Home are spoiled every now and again by the Ratanda branch of Ladies Mantombazana who do charity work in and around Heidelberg.

The group believes in making changes in their communities, provinces and even countrywide by encouraging women of all ages to pray against corruption, violence, crime, drug and alcohol abuse and other issues that plague communities.

They often hold prayer, praise and worship meetings and also do community work which include spoiling the elderly ladies in the community.

The group visited Ratanda Old Age Home in December for a ‘tender loving care’ session where Pastor Maria Ndlovu read a passage from John 13 in the Bible where Jesus washed his disciples’ feet.

“Today we also do this act of love and humanity to demonstrate what Jesus stood for,” she said before the ladies washed the elderly’s feet. The group also cut, painted and polished their nails.
